Remote Internship Application

The Remote Internship is an opportunity to help students find a placement for internships, including for Global Public Health majors' required Experiential Learning requirement. This requirement is for all GPH combined majors. The internship cannot be conducted without taking the course (NODEP-UA 9XXX/INDIV-UG 9XXX).

GPH majors must* have completed the following courses in order to be eligible. This ONLY applies to GPH majors.

UGPH-GU 10 Health and Society in a Global Context
UGPH-GU 20 Biostatistics for Public Health
UGPH-GU 30 Epidemiology for Public Health

*A very small number of exceptions may be made if one - and only one - course is not complete

GPH minors are eligible for this program but cannot count Experiential Learning toward the minor requirements.

If you are a GPH major and have not taken all the courses below, please stop this application and email gph.el@nyu.edu to see if you can move forward with this program and count it toward your Experiential Learning Requirement. Be sure to include your unofficial transcript when you email them. Otherwise you can move forward with the program and simply count the internship toward your electives. Please discuss with your GPH advisor if you have any questions. Note that participation in the 4 credit Experiential Learning Seminar is required.

Students at NYU Shanghai and NYU Abu Dhabi students: Meet with a career coach at the Career Development Center (CDC) on campus.

Students not studying in New York, Shanghai or Abu Dhabi: Email global.wasserman@nyu.edu to request an electronic review.

Step 2: Have the career coach complete the Internship Resume Review Form.

Step 3: Revise your resume incorporating the recommendations of the career coach.

Step 4: Have your resume reviewed again by a career coach, and have them fill out the second section of the Internship Resume Review Form.
